When a crown helps
Protecting a tooth before it becomes a bigger problem.
A crown may be appropriate when a tooth is cracked, heavily filled, weakened by decay, worn, or treated with a root canal. It can also complete certain implant restorations.
Not every damaged tooth needs a crown. We use photographs and digital radiographs to show you what we see and explain why monitoring, a filling, an onlay, or a crown may be considered.

Craftsmanship
The laboratory behind your crown matters.
A crown is not simply ordered from a catalog. Design, materials, fit, bite, contours, color, and workmanship all affect the result.
We work closely with a premier dental laboratory in Grand Rapids. That relationship supports careful communication and a restoration designed for your individual tooth—not merely the space it occupies.
- Thoughtful tooth preparation
- Attention to bite and function
- Materials selected for the clinical situation
- Close dentist–laboratory communication
